What is Traditional Chinese Medicine?
Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) is one of the world's oldest medical systems that is still widely practiced today. It is an unique and independent medical system which originated in China and has played a major role in curing illnesses and maintaining the health and well-being of Chinese people for thousands of years.
It is getting more popular in the world. It includes several TCM therapies: Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Hot cupping, Moxibustion, Acupressure/Chinese Massage/Tuina, etc. It is a natural, safe and effective way to get healthy and have a better life. Nowadays, more and more people realise that and seek TCM for all kinds of conditions including physical and emotional problems.
TCM is a holistic medical system which is based on some important principles: Yin-yang theory, The Five Elements, Visceral Theory, Qi, Blood and body fluid, The Meridians.
Dr Jenny Ma
Dr Ma has over 26 years' experience in TCM practice.
Dr Ma got her first degree after 5-year full time training of TCM from a medical university in China in 1996. She had been working as a TCM doctor in a hospital in Beijing for over 7 years treating patients with acupuncture, Chinese herbs, hot cupping therapy etc.She has got very good reviews from her patients.
In 2006, after 3- year fulltime training at Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) she got her Master Degree of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
Since, She came to the UK and has worked as a TCM practitioner providing Traditional Chinese Medicine treatments including Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Hot cupping, Chinese medical massage, Ear candling and Reflexology...in Southampton , Romsey , Totton , New Forest, Chandler's Ford and nearby.
